This was my first TSO show that I have gone to and sincerely wasn’t sure what to expect. But literally was not expecting this to be a hard rock show by any means. Trans-Siberian Orchestra has always seemed like a group that would be more fun to see live and after last night’s amazing show I am 100% confirmed. This was possibly the best concert experience I’ve ever had.
It happens sometimes when you go to shows, the sound isn’t so well. I’ve seen bounty of rock bands perform with the guitar way too much in the mix and they’re mostly all you can hear but last night everything just about ideal. No screeching guitars, no bass or drums that flustered your ears so much you get giddiness, everything was spot on for the most part, but funny enough. I thought the guitars were a tiny bit low in the mix. The light show and pyrotechnics were out of this planet exclusively impressive.
The songs and arrangement played during this show were a exceptional blend of classical and metal music. This concert had many surprises in store for the concert goers, including a keyboard duel, a second stage in the spectators and more.
If you get the opportunity to experience TSO live, do so. You won’t be disappointed. It is an exceptional live show that you can’t experience anywhere else. It is a great family affair. The music was loud so you might bring a pair of ear plugs.
